Sewer Line Maintenance
Posted 6 years ago

Most people don’t like to think about sewer lines, let alone sewer line maintenance. Once the toilet is flushed, when the rainwater recedes, and when the sink is emptied we forget that pipes require maintenance. Without proper maintenance damage and emergencies are more likely to occur. When pipes break or backups do happen home and property owners must resort to expensive fixes, cleanup, and repair.

If you live in an association with shared lines, your pipes and your neighbor’s pipes are connected this means whatever your neighbor pours down their drain, has an effect on your drain. Backups caused by food and grease occur often. Instead of being reactive, property and homeowners should be proactive and schedule yearly or twice-yearly sewer line cleanings.

Once or twice a year have the team at Western Supreme Rooter head to your property where they’ll perform sewer line maintenance. This prolongs the life of the cast iron piping that runs through your property and prevents backups.

During the yearly maintenance routine, they will bring out the trailer-mounted hydro-jet to flush anything that could be clogging up your sewer lines. When backups occur, they can cause expensive repair that can include sanitation, cleaning, new pipes and more. During the property visit, WSR will pop off all the cleanout caps in the underground parking garage at your unit to blast out roots and debris.

This service is a simple way to help keep disaster at bay. By keeping up with regular line maintenance, you are ensuring that your home, property or association is taking preventative steps to avoid backups, flooding, breakage, and damage in the future. It’s always better to be proactive and maintain these lines rather than wait for the damage to occur.

Be sure to call and inquire about having your yearly sewer line maintenance performed!
