Employee Appreciation Day 2025
On September 18th, 2025, Western Rooter proudly hosted its annual Employee Appreciation Day, honoring the incredible team members who keep our company running strong, year after year. This year’s event was particularly special, as we celebrated some impressive milestones and gave thanks to the people who have truly shaped the heart and soul of Western Rooter.
Employee Appreciation Day is our way of showing gratitude to the individuals who go above and beyond for our customers, day in and day out. From long-time field technicians to office staff, every member of the Western Rooter family plays a vital role in the success of our business. This year, we were excited to recognize a large number of employees who have dedicated many years of service to the company.
We celebrated:
- 25 employees with more than 5 years of service
- 10 employees who have been with us for over 10 years
- 5 employees who reached over 15 years of dedication
- And 1 exceptional employee who has been with us for more than 25 years
Each of these team members received a custom trophy as a token of our appreciation for their loyalty, hard work, and contribution to the company. In addition to their trophies, all of the honorees were awarded a weekend trip to enjoy some well-earned rest and relaxation with their loved ones.
One of the most memorable moments of the day came during a surprise presentation for our longest-serving employee, Tony Bernal. Tony has been with Western Rooter for more than 25 years. Over the course of his career, he has become more than just a dedicated employee. He is our company Chaplain, a lead supervisor, and a mentor to many of the younger technicians who are just starting their careers.
Tony’s leadership, positive attitude, and steady guidance have made a lasting impact on our company culture. As a special thank you for his incredible service, we surprised him with a fully upgraded and custom-wrapped work van, completely detailed and personalized just for him. His reaction was priceless, and it was an emotional moment for the entire team.
Employee Appreciation Day was filled with smiles, laughter, and a strong sense of camaraderie. We gathered to share stories, honor each other’s achievements, and reflect on what makes Western Rooter such a special place to work. The event reminded us that our company is not just about plumbing services. It is about people. It is about building a strong, supportive team that cares for one another and works together to deliver the best service possible to our customers.
We are incredibly proud of our team and grateful for their continued dedication. Their passion, professionalism, and commitment to excellence are what keep our customers coming back and what drive our business forward every single day.
